On my way to work today I encountered a man on the side of the road. He looked no different than any other man I had ever seen before, but for the 3rd time in my life I felt the need to help a fellow and allow a hitch-hiker into my car. I generally have an easy time passing the people; I was raised they should do for themselves! Everyone should have Roadside Assistance.
But today, on my way to work this man needed to picked up. And I just passed him. I had an overwhelming urge to help the man. That has happened twice before. Both were Veteran. Today, I felt that way and went onto work.
So to the man on the road, I’m sorry.
